For example, take
Gmail’s MicDrop feature. It promises to give you the last word on your outgoing message.
I wish this feature did exist; it’d be a great way to silence those REPLY-TO-ALLers.
Update: Much like Orson Welles‘ radio broadcast of War of the Worlds this faux feature, was believed real. Citing a backlash of complaints, GMail quickly disabled this Aprils Fool’s joke
